Debutant Devon Conway showed his class with a 29-ball 41 in the first T20 match against the West Indies in Auckland on Friday.
He combined with Jimmy Neesham to stitch together a 77-run partnership off just 35 balls after New Zealand seemed to be in trouble at 63/4, chasing a target of 180 in a rain-curtailed match.
Conway was eventually dismissed, but all-rounder Neesham combined with Mitchell Santner to take his team over the line.
