Planes airlifted humanitarian aid to the beleaguered Gaza Strip, targeting the cities of Deir al-Balah and Rafah on February 26.

Witnesses reported that no aid was dropped in northern Gaza, where the blockade has severely restricted supplies.

The Israeli blockade, initiated after a Hamas attack on October 7, has led to widespread starvation, with nearly 29,800 Palestinians killed and over 70,000 injured since the conflict’s onset. The UN reports that 85% of Gaza’s population is now internally displaced, grappling with acute shortages of food, clean water, and medicine.
