The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Sunday, February 16 that additional tickets for the India matches and semi-final 1 will be going on sale. The additional tickets are expected to go live at 12 pm Gulf Standard Time on Sunday, according to the release from the ICC. The tickets will be available from 1:30 pm IST for fans in India.

India will be playing all their matches in the tournament in Dubai, starting with their opening match against Bangladesh on February 20. 3 days later, India will be taking on arch-rivals Pakistan in a high-stakes game, before ending their group stage with a match against New Zealand on March 2. The Dubai International Cricket Stadium will also be hosting the 1st semi-final on March 4.
“Tickets will be available for India’s opening group match with Bangladesh on February 20, while there will also be tickets available for their games against arch-rival Pakistan (February 23) and New Zealand (March 2) at the eight-team tournament.”
“There will also be limited tickets available for semi-final 1 that will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, March 4,” read the statement from the ICC.

The media release also stated that the ticket sales for the final of the tournament will begin after the first semi-final in Dubai. If India is part of the first semi-final and wins it, then the final would be shifted to Dubai.

Indian team arrives in Dubai for Champions Trophy
The Indian cricket team arrived in Dubai on Saturday, February 15, ahead of the tournament. The first batch of players left from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai and included the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
They arrived after a 3-hour-long flight and were given a warm reception upon their arrival in Dubai. India will not be playing any practice games in Dubai and come into the tournament after beating England 3-0 in the recently-concluded ODI series.
